CMRC: Team Jabouri Racing
MISSISSAUGA, ON -- Running the National SuperMoto series wasn't enough for Mississauga's Adam Jabouri, 15, so he decided to add road racing to the calendar. He will be running the RACE Super Series regional road racing series (www.shannonville.com) and the national SuperMoto series (www.cmrcquebec.com).
With round 1 of the RACE series coming up this weekend, Team Jabouri Racing has been busy testing its newly acquired Kawasaki ZX-6RR. An open test session a couple of weeks ago allowed Adam to get used to riding on pavement, as well as dial in his new motorcycle.
"The test went very well," commented Adam, "the bike worked perfectly. The suspension was on the stiff side, but we've since replaced the rear spring with a lighter one. I'm really looking forward to this season. I'm excited to start road racing, and the SuperMoto schedule looks great."
In SuperMoto competition, Adam will be racing in the premier PRO Open, PRO 450 and PRO 250 classes. Kawasaki's new KX450F and 250F have proven to be very fast in testing.
"We tested at Stop 48 last weekend and everything went well. The new five-speed gearbox on the KX450 will be a big advantage this year," said team principle Louey Jabouri.
