The NASMOTO Horsepower Circus Comes to New York For Memorial Day Weekend SuperMoto Race - High powered motorcycles get-it-on in this extreme sport that has plenty of non-stop action just outside new York City.
[ClickPress, Fri May 18 2007] The second round of the NASMOTO SuperMoto Grand Prix kicks off Sunday, May 27th over the Memorial Day weekend at the Cycle Performance Presents NASMOTO New York GP located in Cuddebackville, New York at the Oakland Valley Race Park (OVRP).
The 14 turn half mile asphalt track includes a dirt section designed by the past AMA MX Champion and current AMA Hall of Fame member Doug Henry. It features table tops, banked turns and whoops placed in a pastoral setting with plenty of run off and great spectator viewing areas all along the track. OVRP is the oldest SuperMoto track on the East Coast and provides a top-shelf spectator event.
The top Pro-Am riders from up and down the eastern seaboard are competing in this Regional Qualifier to become eligible for a berth at the NASMOTO AMA SuperMoto Grand Championships, scheduled for November, location to be announced.

The Cycle Performance Presents NASMOTO New York GP features the following classes: SMX Pro Open; SMX 250; SM1 Open; SM2 250; Open Amateur; Vet 35; Novice; Beginner; Premier Mini and Sport Mini. Also, back by popular demand for the second year are SMX ATV Pro-Am and Amateur ATV SuperMoto.
